why is abbreviation such a long word?
if a hen and a half can lay an egg and a half in a day and a half, how long would it take a monkey with a wooden leg to kick the seeds out of a dill pickle?
what do you plant to grow a seedless watermelon?
if it's zero degree outside today and it's supposed to be twice as cold tomorrow, how cold is it going to be?
have you ever imagined the world with no hypothetical situations?
if the world is round-- not flat-- then how can a person walk in a straight line?
why do people pay to go up a tall building and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?
why do they put braille on the number pads of drive-through bank machines?

1) In your own mind, you are always right. Every action you take—what you do or say or how you choose to appear—is automatically right the moment you act.
His hand shaking as he lifts his cup, Mr. Whittier says, “Even if you were to tell yourself, ‘Today, I’m going to drink coffee the wrong way . . . from a dirty boot.’ Even that would be right, because you chose to drink coffee from that boot.”
Because you can do nothing wrong. You are always right.
Even when you say, “I’m such an idiot, I’m so wrong . . .” you’re right. You’re right about being wrong. You’re right even when you’re an idiot.
“No matter how stupid your idea,” Mr. Whittier would say, “you’re doomed to be right because it’s yours.”

2)The English language is none-sensible and thus has ridiculous rules and words.
4) Growth-promoting hormones produced by the developing seed enhance fruit enlargement in seeded watermelons. Because triploid melons do not contain developing seed, they require pollen to stimulate fruit growth. This creates a problem because triploid plants are essentially sterile and produce little, if any, pollen. The solution is to interplant rows of seeded pollenizer melons with rows of triploid watermelons. Keep in mind that melons from the pollenizer variety must be easily separated from the triploid melons at harvest.
5) Depends on what scale you are talking about...if it was 0 degrees Fahrenheit then you can use Tc = (5/9)*(Tf-32) to find the temp in Celsius (-34 degrees) or if reverse then it would be 16 degrees Fahrenheit.
7) It is all about variable scope, at local frame of reference it appears that we are walking in a straight line as the world appears to us, but true in reality we are walking in a radius of 6378 km.
8) It is usually a perception of being "on top of the world" and thus able to look out in a larger scope than normal perception.
9)People can walk to them to use.
oh my goodness marc. i wasn't suggesting actually pondering these questions. haha. i was just pointing out some reallyfunny hypothetical questions. i'm glad you took the time to come up with some answers though.
